We are proud of our diverse workforce. We have no mandatory retirement age and no ceiling age for recruitment.
We always aim to recruit colleagues locally thereby bringing wages and their associated economic benefits to the communities around our stores. We recruit on aptitude and personality, before training candidates to develop their skills through a range of development programmes.
The new store is expected to create up to 450 permanent jobs. We propose to work with the Island’s Employment and Skills Board and Job Centre Plus to ensure that local people, including those most disadvantaged in the labour market, have the best opportunity to join our team.
